Description
Another pure single agricole rum to add to our delicious-y collection, this bottling hails from the land of red sugarcane in Thailand. Made from 100% sugarcane juice with absolutely no alterations made before fermentation and no additives...well, added. A rum-lover's delight, every ounce of cane juice has been extracted from hand-peeled red cane heart from Red Sugarcane grown on Issan distillery's plantations. It's this extra care taken in peeling the cane before crushing that delivers those full and fruity notes.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Vibrant fresh sugarcane, fruity floral notes, green apples, honeydew melon, white grapefruit, white rose, sweet-fusel, petrol-y characteristics & a wet cut grass finish.
Palate: Sweet dried grass, briny green olive, white pepper, overripe pear.
Finish: Spicy pepper!
